- Oversee the RH transport fleet and ensure vehicles are properly maintained, repaired when needed, and on a regular preventative maintenance schedule.

- Ensure department operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety
- Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to throughout the operation, with exceptional focus on health and safety.
- Ensure sufficient resource is available in order to meet performance expectations, including managing recruitment and agencies.
- Responsible for driving high levels of employee engagement through development of colleagues, regular 1-1 reviews, participation in site activities etc.
- Work closely with RH Shift Manager, RH Warehouse and RH Planning teams.
- Ensure that any performance, conduct, or capability issues are thoroughly investigated, and any required resulting actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Make any necessary alterations to the RH Transport plan, providing feedback to the RH & Wincanton Planning team where required.
The Role

The Person
- Experience of managing large transportation fleets of 25+ vehicles
- Successful track record of controlling fleet costs through data-driven decision making.
- Experience implementing transportation management systems for efficient fleet administration.
- An experienced Supervisor with Delighting the customer with the delivery service focus within in a Transport environment.
- Energetic, resilient, flexible and go the extra mile.
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail and a right first-time approach.
- Good knowledge of Transport legislation
- Experience of Kronos time management and Oracle is an advantage.
- Able to work shift work, including weekend working (required)
