We are looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to join our team in the defence sector at Wincanton, based in Motherwell. The main responsibilities include maintaining compliance with legislation and contract requirements, managing relevant licences and accreditations across all Scotland contracts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits, raise CARs, and follow up on corrective actions
  • Record and manage customer complaints and supplier performance
  • Raise quarantine/rejection reports and monitor related processes
  • Monitor internal quality performance, focusing on continual improvement
  • Manage site quality documents and calibration programmes
  • Participate in site audits and inspections, liaise with clients
  • Update and maintain site quality procedures and plans
  • Assist in resolving quality issues and ensure legal compliance
  • Ensure security training compliance and prepare for security and risk audits
  • Guide operational teams on regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in a defence environment is beneficial
  • Knowledge of security processes and management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Auditor skills, root cause analysis, and report writing
  • Customer-facing experience on quality and legislative issues
  • Ability to operate independently and travel across Scotland sites

Note: Successful candidates must obtain and maintain security clearance, including providing 5 years of UK residence and employment/education history.
