Overview
People Co-ordinator – Waitrose CFC Greenford at Wincanton. This is a full-time permanent role working any 5 days/nights out of 7, including weekends. Pay – up to £27,000 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Apply people policies and processes, ensuring the integrity of local people practices within the site.
- Support site engagement – act as a champion for the sites and promote the annual surveys, participation, and communication of outcomes.
- First line resolution of basic HR queries.
- Manage employee files and complete filing tasks.
- Ensure corporate updates and information are displayed on site noticeboards and updated for the Management Team.
- Support the People Manager with tasks related to the engagement survey, performance reviews and company initiatives.
- Act as a notetaker and support meetings, including issuing letters in disciplinary, grievance and absence meetings in accordance with company procedure.
- Provide support for recruitment activities including production of job adverts, sifting CVs, arranging interviews, and monitoring recruitment response – working with the relevant line manager to ensure effective time to hire.
- Support onboarding and life cycle experiences for new starters.
- Input People metrics, including data on recruitment, starters, leavers, transfers and sickness for KPI reporting.
What you will bring
- Experience in an Administrative role.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Computer literacy with a high standard and experience in using MS Word.
- Experience of using Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and web-based applications would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Professional and flexible attitude; able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good communicator to all levels including management teams and office support functions.
