Job Description
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Salary: Β£40,000+
Location: Nuneaton, Distribution Centre.
Essential skills required:
- Proven experience in a logistics operations role,
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong IT and data analysis skills (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
Experience & Key Skills
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and develop operational teams including supervisors and floor staff.
- Manage workforce planning, training, and performance reviews.
Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Drive continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.
Health & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Manage operational budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
- Analyse variances and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Sales, Planning, Customer Service, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Support new product introductions and process changes.
