Job Description:
Nestle Purina Warehouse distributes pet food across the UK. Responsibilities include picking and packing duties, potential forklift work, packing orders for stores, and creating promotional materials.
37.5 hours per week with 3 shift options available:
- Shift 1: Sat-Wed, rotating 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00-22:00
- Shift 2: Any 5 out of 7, 22:00-06:00
- Shift 3: Any 5 out of 7, rotating 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00-22:00
Operational Vacancies at Hams Hall:
Warehouse Operative
Operatives are responsible for receiving inbound loads, picking orders, preparing loads for dispatch, and loading vehicles using MHE. Tasks should be performed safely, accurately, and with regard to product quality. The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse (desired but not essential)
- Manual handling experience
- Understanding of Quality and Health and Safety Standards
- Ability to work independently
- MHE Licences are advantageous but not required; training provided
Salary: Based on 37.5 hours per week, physically on site for 40 hours. The salary is £27,364.48 plus shift allowance depending on hours worked.
