Wincanton are looking for a MHE Professional Standards Trainer to join the team. Reporting to the Regional People Campus Manager (North), this is a permanent role responsible for the management of the Wincanton HSEQ training programmes, assisting with the writing and delivery of health & safety training and operating equipment across the business, and ensuring programmes are reviewed and updated in line with legislation and industry best practice. The successful candidate will also provide operational support to the broader People Campus team during periods of low training demand to maintain efficiency and service quality. Location: National with extensive UK travel. Salary: £32,000 + Car. Contract: Permanent – Full time.

Responsibilities
- To deliver training to meet course objectives using a range of teaching methods.
- To deliver RTITB Instructor Courses.
- To write and develop high-quality training courses in line with current company standards and objectives, using a range of teaching methods.
- To write and develop bespoke high-quality training courses for specific customers as required.
- Regularly review and maintain course training materials to ensure they are up to date and legally compliant.
- Evaluate the success and impact of training delivered.
- Produce timely and accurate reports for training analysis.
- Extensive UK travel as part of the role.
What you will bring
- Excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices.
- Current RTITB lift truck instructor qualification (in date).
- Experience delivering a wide range of MHE operator and MHE management courses.
- Current in-date lift truck operator certifications for all rider-operated reach truck, counterbalance, low level order picker, powered pallet truck, flexi truck, moffett, and battery changing/charging safety as a minimum.
- Dynamic and creative with a willingness to develop to broaden the HSEQ course portfolio.
- Confident and proficient at writing and delivering presentations.
- Strong communication skills and articulate verbal ability.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Consistent, polite, approachable and helpful.
- Advanced user of PowerPoint; open to new ideas and training delivery methods.
