PERMANENT ROLE – MONDAY TO FRIDAY – £54,890.85 PER ANNUM
Wincanton are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Night Lorry Driver to join the team at our Newport, Wales site. The vehicles you could be driving will be a mix of crane vehicles, drawbar and rigid crane vehicles.

How will you contribute?
-
Trunking trailers to our outpost in Cullompton. 2 trips per night

Reporting vehicle defects in a timely manner.

Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

Transhipment of loads using lorry mounted crane.

You will put the customer at the heart of everything you, so ensuring you work to a high level of health and safety and are compliant to specific customer requirements.
What will you bring?

Must have valid C+E Class 1 licence

Must have valid CPC
-
Must hold Digital tachograph card

Must not have more than 6 points on licence

Experience in cranes/drawbars desirable

HIAB, Palfinger roll loader/fixed mounted cranes experience and brick grab experience would be advantageous

Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills

Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised

Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Must have good English communication skills and writing skills

Must have a good geographical knowledge
