Transport Co-ordinator in Harlow

Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing transport team within the Octopus Energy Delivery Network, working for a leading name in logistics.

Based at our Harlow site, you’ll play a key role in managing and coordinating transport operations to ensure the efficient, timely delivery of goods. You’ll also provide exceptional support to colleagues and clients in a fast‑paced environment where adaptability and problem‑solving are essential.

Salary: £27,580.80

Shift Pattern: Working 5 days per week Monday – Friday

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement and excellence within the team.
• An understanding of IT, Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel & MS Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbally.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to think rationally under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets and service level agreements.
• Previous experience in the logistics sector is desirable, but not essential.
• Understanding of transport regulations and requirements.
• Understanding of transport systems Flexipod/WinSight, Vision, Telematics.
• Proven experience of dealing with maintenance suppliers to ensure fast and effective service levels.
