Job Title: Class 2 Driver
Wincanton is seeking a passionate customer service-oriented Class 2 Driver to join our 2-man home delivery team in Harlow, delivering a variety of products for our Wickes contract.
Salary: £44,540.49 per annum
Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday
Start Time: Between 0400 and 0600
Hours: 45 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at basic hourly rate
Holidays: 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays
Responsibilities include delivering kitchen and bathroom flatpack products to customer homes as part of a two-person crew. Occasional bulk item deliveries using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle may be required, mainly during Spring peak times.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles and operate equipment safely and professionally, following company policies and legislation.
- Ensure vehicle security and follow standing procedures.
- Perform vehicle and equipment checks before operation; report defects immediately.
- Report delivery issues or exceptions promptly.
- Report to the traffic office for debrief upon return.
- Self-manage and use initiative to solve problems.
- Maintain health and safety standards, adhering to the Health & Safety at Work Act, including incident and damage reporting.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid in-date Class 2 licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Good timekeeping and ability to work unsupervised
- DBS check required
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
