Responsibilities

  • Assist with the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of operational data from various sources (e.g., WMS, Oracle, Kronos) into reporting tools.
  • Support the CI & Process Manager with the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reporting suites.
  • Analyse trends in key performance areas (e.g., Delivery, Cost, Productivity) and prepare summary insights for stakeholders.
  • Assist in producing visualisations that support operational and strategic conversations.
  • Maintain and develop the BI data model to ensure consistency and accuracy across datasets.
  • Present data visualisations to key stakeholders across Wincanton and the client.
  • Use process automation, VBA, and Power Automate to help streamline reporting efficiencies across the contract.

Experience, Skills, and Attributes

  • Minimum of 5+ years of data analysis, root cause analysis, business intelligence, and data management coordination or a relevant bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Data Science, etc).
  • Demonstrable interest in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

Desirables

  • Familiarity with SQL or Python.
  • Understanding of warehouse or logistics operations would be advantageous.
  • Completion of the Microsoft PL300 within the last 3 years.
