Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00
Location: Gateshead
Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class 2 Vehicle safely, complying with all road traffic and vehicle legislation.
- Performing multidrop deliveries to high street stores and trading estates.
- Assisting with deliveries, including mechanical offloading and store assistance.
- Using vehicle equipment to offload items.
- Collecting returns from customers’ properties.
- Completing tachographs in accordance with legislation and company policies.
- Performing vehicle checks before and after journeys, reporting defects.
- Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always secured.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Physically able to lift and shift items, as the role is physically demanding.
- Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
- Understanding of driver\’s hours legislation and working time directive.
- No more than 6 points on driving license.
