About The Role

We’re recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support Sainsbury’s convenience store network. You’ll play a key role in ensuring stores are stocked on time, delivering safely, efficiently, and with a high level of service. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with one of the UK’s leading logistics providers, working on a well-established grocery contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries to Sainsbury’s local stores and RDCs
  • Delivering caged and palletised goods using tail lift and kerbside methods
  • Ensuring all delivery paperwork is accurate and completed correctly
  • Collecting empties, returns and agreed waste materials
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Providing excellent customer service as a representative of Wincanton & Sainsbury’s
  • Staying compliant with tachograph, driver hours and transport regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Reliable, professional and able to work independently
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays

Please note: A Drug & Alcohol test will be conducted at interview stage.
