Reporting into the People Partner, the successful candidate will support the delivery of our strategic plan, which includes “enabling our people to be their best”.
Responsibilities
- Applying people policies and processes, ensuring the integrity of local people practices within the site/contract – escalating where required
- Active involvement in supporting the engagement and wellbeing strategy across the site including million hours mission
- Ensure accurate operation of HR system and time and attendance system and other applicable systems
- Monitoring of key metrics, such as turnover, retention rates and absence reporting, taking action where required
- Collate management reports
- Driving the business performance in relation to the company’s objectives
- Contribute towards the improvement of processes and methods of operating practices
- Assist in the coaching, mentoring and development of the leadership team
- Manage any employee relations caseload efficiently and effectively, maintaining consistency across the sites
- Assist with People projects, and lead where appropriate
- Collaborate with the People team at Lutterworth to support where required
- Previous HR Advisor experience
- Previous experience of providing employment law and best practice advice
- Understand the impact that a strategic people plan can bring to the business
- Confidential and professional approach
- Organisation and administrative skills
- Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload, working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ideally qualification of CIPD Level 5 or working towards
