An exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Member has opened at our Britvic site in Lutterworth, Wincanton. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will cover multiple functions of the warehouse role.
Shift Pattern: Rotating early and late shifts, Monday to Friday
Basic pay rate: £29,955.28 + shift pay
How will you contribute?
- To carry out all aspects of the physical function within the warehouse in order to complete the daily workload to the specified time schedules.
- To ensure the operation completes each function to the highest standard.
- Warehouse Team Members will be trained to be multi-skilled and have the ability to operate within a fast-moving warehouse.
- To ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded within key performance indicator targets.
- To ensure the physical case picking element of the warehouse operation is within the key performance indicator targets.
- Warehouse Team Members will be trained to enter information onto the management systems and record the arrival of products.
- To ensure that a high level of housekeeping and hygiene is maintained at all times.
- To ensure all tasks are carried out to the relevant health and safety procedures and by adhering to safe working practices at all times.
What will you bring?
- It is desirable that the successful candidate has previous experience of warehouse activities.
- Will possess the ability to work on their own initiative to specified deadlines.
- Will possess a positive attitude to work and be flexible to meet the challenging demands of the operation in a timely fashion.
- Will be an effective communicator and be able to develop good working relationships at all levels.
- The successful candidate will be punctual and committed.
- Will be flexible and committed to the site's success.
- An FLT Licence is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Ideally we are looking for someone who is tenacious, diligent and has a natural drive for results and meeting targets.
