The role involves working for ASDA Logistics Depot in Larne, delivering ambient and fresh produce to ASDA Stores across Northern Ireland. This is a back-shift role.
Job Purpose: To carry out warehouse duties to enable the smooth movement of stock from Goods in to Goods Out and ensure the timely preparation of store orders to the highest standard of quality, hygiene and accuracy.
Shift Pattern: 12 noon to 8pm, 5 days out of 7 per week, with the guarantee to be off at least 1 weekend every 4 weeks.
Duties:
- Ensure correct products are received, put away, replenished, assembled and loaded prior to store delivery in line with company procedure
- Meet targets for productivity, accuracy, timekeeping and attendance
- Carry out duties avoiding stock damage through secure loads, proper stacking, shrink wrap, loading formation
- Operate equipment once trained to do so
- Move objects using safe manual handling techniques
- Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and presentation
Essential Experience, Skills And Attributes:
- Aged 16+ (eligible to start)
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- FLT and/or Reach Truck licence is advantageous but not essential
- Manual handling skills required; physically demanding role
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Good verbal and written English
- Ability to drive MHE
- High level of accuracy and productivity
- Flexibility and reliability
- Excellent teamwork and ability to work independently
- Great work ethic

- Current salary circa £27,300 per annum
- Enhanced overtime x1.5 (above 40 hrs)
