Overview
ADR Class 1 Driver — We’re looking for a versatile and safety-focused ADR Driver to join our specialist logistics team. You’ll be responsible for the secure transport of hazardous goods, including lithium-ion batteries and solar panels, across the UK.
A typical day starts between 5–6 AM, with 1–2 deliveries to engineers in the morning, followed by a trunk run between our distribution centres. This role is ideal for professional drivers who take pride in safety, compliance, and customer service.

Essential Skills
- Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence.
- ADR Licence (minimum: Class 9 – Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances, with Packages preferred).
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience with hazardous goods transport (batteries/solar panels desirable).
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently with a professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport ADR-classified goods (e.g. lithium-ion batteries) to and from customer sites.
- Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards.
- Follow ADR, Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Health & Safety regulations at all times.
- Accurately complete delivery documentation (ePODs, manifests, waste transfer notes if required).
- Provide a professional, reliable service when representing the company to customers and site contacts.
