Role Profile
Wincanton is seeking a Class 2 Driver with a passion for customer service to join our team in Portbury, delivering kitchen and bathroom flatpack products for our Wickes contract.
- £17.54 per hour
- £41,053.70 per annum
- 45 hours per week
- Tuesday to Saturday, starting between 0500 and 0700
- Overtime paid at £17.54 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering products to customer homes as part of a two-person crew
- Maintaining safety and professionalism in vehicle operation
- Conducting vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Reporting delivery issues promptly
- Completing debriefs upon return to the site
- Self-managing and problem-solving on the job
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting incidents
Requirements:
- Valid in-date Class 2 licence
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver CPC qualification
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
- Customer-facing experience is a plus
- Positive, flexible attitude and good time management
- DBS check required
This role involves physical work and manual handling, so physical fitness is essential.
