The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.

How will you contribute?

  1. Reporting to the Transport Shift Manager with the responsibility for a team of Transport Clerks & Drivers.
  2. Proactively motivating the team to achieve planned targets and deadlines by providing guidance and encouragement.
  3. To ensure the operation achieves targeted daily and weekly KPI’s, through effective use of the customer’s computerised Integrated Transport Management System.
  4. To ensure the department provides a quality first class service to the customer and stores.
  5. To ensure the department operates within the legal constraints of the site operator’s licence.
  6. Ensure the operation is fully compliant with legislation.

What will you bring?

  1. Experience of working within a transport environment.
  2. Experience of a Unionised Environment an advantage.
  3. Knowledge of computerised scheduling and driver management packages an advantage.
  4. Knowledge and understanding of transport driver targets and transport legislation.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills and team management.
  6. Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships with the ability to influence management team’s thinking to deliver high performance through a culture of accountability and ownership.
