We are looking for a Warehouse Team Member (Days) to join us on our Micheldever contract in Greenford. The warehouse team member will work from Monday to Friday to pick and load all customer orders due to be transferred to our Ashford depot in Kent, and also handle our own local van deliveries.
Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Team Member (Days) to join our team on the Micheldever contract in Greenford. The role involves picking and loading customer orders for transfer to the Ashford depot in Kent and managing local deliveries.
How will you contribute?
- Accurately pick goods for transfer to other depots or customers
- Ensure location information is up to date and accurate when locating goods in the warehouse
- Carry out stock rotation activities
- Ensure paperwork is correctly filled out
- Sort and place materials or items onto racks and shelves
- Ensure orders are dispatched on time
- Carry out spot checks and audits
- Audit stock movements across the warehouse and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with the wider team to improve processes and ways of working
- Adhere to all legal, health and safety, food safety, and operational procedures to ensure safety
- Report injuries, accidents, and safety issues
- Follow procedures and practices based on training received
- Participate in fostering a culture of continuous improvement
