What will you be doing as a HIAB Driver?

  • Driving a HIAB Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
  • Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
  • Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
  • Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
  • Always providing a first-class customer service experience

Relevant skills and experience as a HIAB Driver:

  • This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift items
  • Valid Class 2 HIAB Licence
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card
  • Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
  • A general understanding of driver\’s hours legislation and working time directive
  • No more than 6 points on driving license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
  • Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
