How will you contribute?
- Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for employees and contractors, including induction and refresher courses.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions; analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses; collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.
- Manage the distribution centre\’s safety equipment inventory, ensuring adequate supply and compliance with standards.
- Liaise with internal auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the HSE Manager in developing and maintaining emergency response plans, including evacuation and first aid drills.
- Prepare and complete daily and monthly reports on health, safety, and environmental metrics, highlighting KPIs, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain documentation and records related to HSE activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Coordinate meetings and oversee scheduling, logistics, and communication; undertake general administrative tasks such as data entry.
