To receipt and prepare items for the HPC build, prepare items with multiple tools, assessing each items requirement as per the instructions to ensure safe and compliant storage and carriage to site. We have several positions across the Bridgwater operation based within our J24 Asset Warehouse team, MLC Warehouse and a project team currently focusing on the integration of stock between systems; Turnkey.

The opportunity will playing a crucial role in being a part of our EDF contract, which supports the warehousing solutions for the HPC Nuclear Build (Hinkey Point C) in Bridgwater. The first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

Duties and responsibilities:
Demonstrating of a safety-first mind set and active engagement with safety initiatives
Operate MHE to unload and load deliveries into floor and racking locations
Preparing and completing warehouse deliveries according to schedule
Inventory control via use of Scan guns, Tablets and Warehouse Management System
Delivering high personal standards to achieve KPI’s in safety, quality, performance and service
Taking pride in ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the operation
Use of various other tools; banding machine, scales and/or applicable machinery and manual support tools
Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
Experience of working within a warehouse environment
Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills
Ability to make recommendations for improvement
Enthusiastic, committed and able to respond positively to changing demands
MHE license(s) desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Career progression will be available for the right candidates
CITB Operatives or equivalent
