Our highly acclaimed OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school (March 2025) is looking for a candidate who is able to demonstrate a commitment to raising children’s aspirations and attainment through creative and inspiring learning experiences. We are looking for a teacher whose dedication will motivate and connect with our pupils and families, whilst ensuring progress and ambition are fostered for all learners. This post is a job-share and there is flexibility with the days either at the beginning or the end of the week. This post is suitable for an ECT.

We are looking for a teacher who has:

  • Proven ability to work effectively alongside others to have a significant impact on pupil's attainment
  • Proven highly effective Year 1/Year 2 classroom practice
  • Strong knowledge of phonics and early reading and writing, supporting the ethos from the new writing framework
  • Proven ICT skills and Interactive Whiteboard teaching
  • Clear understanding of assessing pupil's progress
  • Comprehensive understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND needs within the mainstream classroom
  • Excellent communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
  • Ability to build effective relationships with adults and children
  • Work as part of an effective team with humour and dedication
  • Good organisation skills
  • Uses their initiative
