Job Description
As a Transport Administrator based in Kingsway, you will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern on the night shift (18:00 – 06:00), be responsible for managing and coordinating transport activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and providing exceptional customer service and support to colleagues and clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients. Duties and responsibilities
- General administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures
- To work with, assist, and report to the Transport Management team
- Ensuring good standards of Health and Safety processes are followed by yourself and the team
- Assist with the management of vehicle defects through the VOR process
- Administration of the movement of vehicles and associated activities
- Undertake all activities in line with KPI requirements and SLA\’s
- Responsible for booking all drivers / vehicles into the depot
- Tracks and supports the organisation of trailer servicing on time in accordance with procedures
- Issues correct paperwork and books out drivers from the transport department
- Face to face interaction with drivers when conducting pre- and de-briefs
- Continuously monitors the in-house and third-party management software systems, ensuring compliance with key system requirements
- Ensure compliance with all Company, statutory and Health and Safety obligations
- Works closely with key operational partners including other departments, depots and customer locations
- Other site administration as and when required

- Intermediate level IT skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Outstanding attention to detail to ensure accurate records are maintained
- Ability to work to strict timescales
- Knowledge of appropriate driver legislation, Microlise, Tachomaster, and consignment management software is desirable but not essential
- Team player, self-motivated, flexible and confident
- General awareness of health and safety is essential
