We are looking for Superheroes to join our Superhero Team. Our highly effective school is looking to appoint more Superheroes to our team. We strongly recommend visiting the school to capture our nurturing, high expectation ethos which supports our young people to achieve all they can.
What will I be doing?
We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and knowledgeable SENCO to join our SLT in leading this provision in our thriving and successful school for January 2026.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- To hold exceptional knowledge of SEND including areas such as Dyslexia, ASD, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties
- Knowledge of specific assessments to identify needs
- Able to work effectively with teachers to meet the needs of our high level and complex learners
- Support LSA staff and train staff to support children in these areas
- Being approachable, supportive and understanding the needs of parents and carers
- Knowledge of effective SEN procedures to support the needs of pupils and staff
- Holds a National Award for SENCOs or an NPQ SENCOs
