Job Purpose
Job Purpose: To carry out any warehouse duties assigned to enable the smooth and effective movement of stock from “Goods in” to “Goods Out” and ensure the timely preparation of store orders to the highest standard of quality, hygiene and accuracy.
Duties
Employees use state of art smart glasses and augmented reality technology for warehouse picking activities.
Responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, scanning orders and driving FLT and/or Reach Truck (if qualified). The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Shift Pattern
3-week rotating working pattern working between Sunday 11pm to Friday 11pm, with occasional Saturday work:
Week 1: 7am to 3pm
Week 2: 3pm to 11pm
Week 3: 11pm to 7am
Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes
- Aged 18+ due to insurance and warehouse working environment
- Previous warehouse experience essential
- FLT and/or Reach Trust licence is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of order picking processes
- Comfortable operating a PPT/ YAK / MHE
- Manual handling skills – this is a physically demanding role, you need to have the ability to regularly lift and move goods up to 25kg
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices in the workplace
- Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English
- High level of accuracy, striving for 100% accuracy and maximum productivity in all tasks
- Flexibility and reliability (attendance at work) is essential
- Excellent team working skills along with the ability to work independently
- Great work ethic
