In this role, youll support the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse, helping to prepare customer orders and a maintain excellent operational standards. This is a full-time, permanent role. Working 12-hour rotating shift pattern, with a mix of 3 and 4 shifts per week. This provides regular extended breaks throughout the rota, allowing for a better balance between work and personal life. Pay, benefits and more: £15.52 per hour with paid breaks Holiday pay Workplace pension, retail discounts, healthcare and Dental cash plans Extensive training and development opportunities with funded accredited courses and certifications such as First Aid, Health & Safety, and Fire Marshal training Subsidised on-site canteen and free onsite parking What you will do on a typical day: Safely operate Reach Forklift Trucks to move, locate, stack, and store products throughout the warehouse Support the efficient flow of stock from Goods In to Goods Out, ensuring all products are handled accurately and safely Accurately pick, replenish, and prepare customerorders in line with operational and quality standards Carry out routine equipment checks and promptly report any defects, damage, or safety concerns Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service targets Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safe working practices at all times What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous Reach Forklift Truck experience is essential, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards Reliable team player with good communication skills, excellent attendance, and a flexible approach to work Ability to follow procedures, undertake manual handling duties, and work a variety of shifts, including weekends where required We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
