Ready to take the next step in your HR career? At GXO, we are looking for a HR Assistant to join our Coca Cola team in Lisburn, BT28. You will be reporting to the HR Advisor, and you will need to be comfortable supporting line managers in their role and being the contact person for people and pay queries. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain and develop experience in human resources.

This is a part-time, permanent, site-based position, we are super flexible on what days and hours you work as long as 24 hours are covered.

  • We are looking to offer a salary of up to £17,470.00 per annum.
  • 25 (pro rata) days annual leave (plus bank holidays).

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Assist the People Advisor in providing a high-quality professional people service.
  • Support the management of time and attendance system Kronos, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate prior to payroll sign off.
  • Ensure payroll is signed off in a timely manner - Lunar (4 weekly) & Monthly payrolls.
  • Run payroll reports and check payroll for accuracy and assist resolving pay queries when they arise.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed in line with the site agreement and legislation.
  • Support absence management, including administration and policing of the absence procedure and providing guidance to managers.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience working in a people and/or payroll team.
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills in English are essential.
  • High level of Microsoft skills especially in MS Excel.
  • Can work to strict deadlines and under time pressures.
  • A CIPD qualification would be desirable however all relevant experience will be considered.
  • Oracle, Kronos or other similar HR systems experience desirable.
