Coca-Cola Hbc Lisburn Warehouse Shift Manager: Shift: Any 5 days out of 7, 8 hrs shifts rotating days/nights. Moving on to 12 hrs shifts (3 or 4 days a week) rotating days/nights in near future Salary Range: £32-35K Wincanton is a leading supply chain partner for British business, providing supply chain solutions up and down the country. Through a wealth of experience and knowledge Wincanton provides business critical services including storage, handling and distribution; high volume eFulfilment; retailer dark stores; two-person home delivery; fleet and transport management; and network optimisation for many of the UKs best-known companies. The Warehouse Shift Manager is required to lead and grow Wincantons business through leading employees to work effectively and collaboratively. The role is pivotal to the efficient running of the business and will be focused on delivering consistent performance agreed operational KPIs. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will have full accountability for the day to day management of a team of supervisors and warehouse operatives and for delivering a culture that positively supports excellent performance and employee engagement. The Warehouse Shift manager is a natural leader, someone who has the ability to engage with all stakeholders and an ability to successfully implement change. Following a full Induction and Training process, when the Colleague will work day shift in order to learn the business, the Warehouse Night Shift Manager will then move to nightshift duty and lead the Operations activities at night. This is envisaged to be predominately Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for occasional Weekend work or Days. Duties and responsibilities: Proactively motivate and lead a team of Supervisors to achieve planned targets and ensure deadlines are met by providing guidance and encouragement Support the delivery, monitor, and report the operational daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly KPIs Ensure Supervisors are taking actions and following company processes and procedures in relation to absence, annual leave, performance, employee engagement, employee relations and health and safety requirements. Ensure a proactive approach to Health & Safety via risk assessment and ensuring the team comply with health and safety policies and reporting Analyse productivity and performance and make recommendations for improvements Review team performance regularly including performance management reviews Manage team performance, timekeeping, attendance, overtime and sickness levels of individuals and action as per procedures Ensure effective communication throughout the operation communicating planned requirements providing information on performance, company news and procedures Monitor and manage agreed budgets Responsible for the management, development and motivation of temporary labour to cope with the demanding customer volumes including the relationships with local agencies Responsible for the continual improvement of process/methods of the site operating practices Manage customer expectations, ensuring all escalations are dealt with to a high standard and in a timely manner Alongside other Shift Managers, manage union relationships To undertake such other duties as may be reasonability required for the effective management of the operation Experience, skills and attributes 1 years experience in a warehouse environment preferably within the logistics or manufacturing sector Knowledge and understanding of shift KPIs and operational processes Excellent team building, leadership, flexibility and motivational skills Ability to delegate tasks to ensure high performance and KPIs are met Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills in English IT literate with a good understand of Microsoft programmes Agile approach to strategy and planning Passion for continuous improvement and improving efficiencies Ability to make decisions based on data Flexibility to meet the operational requirements High level of self-awareness and takes accountability for own development Ability to work effectively in a team Line management and effective People Skills Ability to mentor, develop and empower direct reports to use initiative Desirable Experience, skills and attributes 3 years experience in a warehouse environment preferably within the logistics or manufacturing sector 1 years supervisory / management experience Management qualification Our Culture & Benefits In addition to generous remuneration, we really value our people and offer a friendly, safety-first working environment, along with other benefits including company pension scheme, generous holidays, cycle to work scheme, employee benefits include, online discount platform, onsite parking and much more.
