Our technology is capable of producing highly complex micro parts to micron level accuracies, creating a revolution in personalised drug delivery and medical care. Our equipment is capable of producing highly complex semiconductor parts, enabling next level efficiencies in electronics manufacturing.

JOIN US as a Field Service Engineer and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. Due to an extended period of growth, this is a newly created role reflecting a need to increase headcount in-line with demand.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, servicing and commissioning of EDM and laser machine tools.
  • Preventive and reactive maintenance at customer sites.
  • Maintenance of equipment within it\’s manufacturing facility.
  • Providing installation and commissioning support for new systems and technical upgrade packages.
  • Providing technical support and training, internally and externally.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent all-round skills in electrical/electronic maintenance disciplines. The required level of competence and experience cannot be attained without recognised, time-served type training.
  • Previous five axis machine tool maintenance experience with knowledge of Heidenhain and PC based control systems is required. EDM knowledge is preferred and applicants with relevant experience will be of particular interest.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (around 40%) throughout the UK and Europe with the remainder of time spent at our facility in Shepshed.
