Time is a finite resource for any leader - and this position exists primarily to ensure that our CEO can dedicate their time to the areas that matter most. Success in this role means providing the support necessary for our leadership to be as effective as possible. This is not a traditional “diary manager” EA role. It’s a trusted operator who brings judgment, pace, and consistent execution. You’ll blend world-class executive support with light operational ownership to overcome obstacles, drive follow-through, and help the CEO to focus on the highest-impact work. This is a 3-day/week role, designed to deliver outsized impact through prioritisation, helpful processes, and consistent follow-up.

What you’ll do

  • CEO & Executive Support (80%)
    • Support the CEO with:
      • Calendar management - to prioritise time in-line with business impact
      • Travel and commitment arrangements
      • CEO execution support
      • Act as filter to the CEO for inbound requests, information, and decisions
      • Prepare concise briefs - so the CEO (and other attendees as required) have full context (agenda, key facts, desired outcome)
      • Track actions, decisions, and follow-ups — and close loops without prompting
      • Draft and send communications on behalf of the CEO where appropriate (customers, investors, partners, internal)
      • Support and help write internal and external presentations.
      • Partner with the senior leadership to embed simple, effective ways of working (notes, actions, cadence, clarity), which support the business strategy and priorities
      • Advise and support on systems that improve efficiency for the wider team
  • Office & Team Operations (20%)
    • Keep the HQ office (Hackney Wick, London) running smoothly across the weekly rhythm
    • Manage suppliers, facilities issues, stock, and basic office budget tracking
    • Be point person for building management and any day-to-day operational issues
    • Help plan and execute team moments: socials, team lunches, offsites (lightweight, high-quality)

About you

  • 3+ years supporting a Founder/CEO or operating as an EA / Founder’s Associate in a scaling business
  • Strong EA fundamentals plus confidence to operate beyond them
  • Excellent instincts around leverage, prioritisation, and impact
  • Exceptional judgment: you know what needs escalation and what doesn’t
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, calm under pressure
  • Commercially minded: you understand how businesses actually run
  • Comfortable saying “no”, pushing back, and making calls in service of priorities
  • Clear, concise communicator in writing and verbally
  • Discreet, emotionally intelligent, deeply trustworthy
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google suite
  • Experience with Powerpoint and deck-composition
  • Interest in Sustainability and Food is a plus
