As an IT Security Engineer, you’ll maintain, evaluate, and test our systems\’ security, assist with digital asset protection, and expand our security architecture.
This involves implementing security controls, practicing due care, supporting data loss prevention, and providing security guidance to our IT team. You should also offer best practices and guidance to our user base.
What you’ll be doing
Your responsibilities include:
- Security Strategy and Governance :
- Determine security controls, monitor systems, conduct audits
- Manage security policies, standards, and procedures
- Coordinate with external consultants for reviews and audits
- Assist with security awareness training
- Security Operations and Incident Response :
- Implement and monitor security measures
- Respond to security requests and issues
- Prioritize patches and fixes
- Review logs for threats
- Lead investigations into attacks and breaches
- Security Solutions and Tools :
- Optimize security configurations and automate tasks
- Assess third-party applications for vulnerabilities
- Maintain security systems and documentation
- Reporting and Documentation :
- Generate security reports and recommendations
