Winberry are recruiting for a Mobile Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business supporting customer sites across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a hands-on role, problem-solving, and working within fast-paced industrial environments. The position involves travel to customer sites carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and general engineering support activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned servicing, maintenance, and site-based engineering work
- Complete RAMS, service reports, and associated documentation accurately and on time
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company health & safety procedures
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and PPE to a high standard
- Support installation and improvement projects where required
- Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding site progress and requirements
- Assist colleagues and support wider engineering operations when needed
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within engineering and service processes
- Previous experience within a field-based engineering, maintenance, or service role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- Comfortable working within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Flexible approach to travel and overnight stays
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IPAF, CSCS, RTITB, or similar industry certifications
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office packages
- First Aid trained
- Basic salary of £32,000 – £35,000
