Key Responsibilities- Support children for 1 hour each day as a midday supervisor.
- Serve lunches to pupils.
- Supervise play both inside and outside the school premises.
- Clear away food safely and maintain a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with young people, maintaining a firm but fair approach.
- Support positive relationships within a safe setting for all students.
- Strong communication skills and a calm demeanour.
- Resilience to handle challenging situations with pupils.
- Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable.
- Ability to maintain a safe environment focused on positive relationships.
- Successful applicant will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, a declaration form under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, and provide satisfactory references covering the last 3 years.
- Must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening, including checks with the Disclosure & Barring Service.
- Compliance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) – ability to speak fluent English is essential.
