Maternity Cover - EYFS Teaching Assistant at Wimbotsham and Stow Academy, 27.5 hours per week. Term time plus 1 week. Salary – MRS Scale D Point 6 to Point 7 (actual salary £16,540 – £16,803); full‑time annual salary £25,989 – £26,403. Temporary to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant with experience and skills supporting children in the EYFS class. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher and other teaching assistants, assisting the children in their work and play, supporting pupil behaviour, establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, and responding to individual needs.

Please note that the role involves some regular physical activity, e.g. supporting intimate care, interacting with students through play on the floor and responding promptly to escalated situations. This does not remove our obligation to make adjustments where appropriate.
