What you will be doing
- Deliver strategic brand leadership and be a key brand champion within AELTC. This will include defining what success and brand effectiveness looks like. Work closely with the Brand Managers to deliver a brand strategy, positioning and brand management framework to ensure that this is embedded in teams around the business.
- Work closely with the Brand Campaigns Manager role to provide leadership and guidance to our marketing campaigns to ensure world class creative output and media strategies. This will include overseeing Wimbledon’s main creative campaign each year and fan engagement activations.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to create an annual strategic brand and marketing plan.
- Lead and manage a marketing annual plan across the wider marketing function. This includes establishing monthly priorities to inform the briefs for teams within marketing.
- Work closely with the Brand Strategy Manager and Insights team to define global market plans and consumer facing opportunities and initiatives. This will include milestone planning, messaging, and creative ideas. This will also include building effective relationships with Broadcast partners.
- Appraise and act as budget holder for strategic, creative and media agency support.
- Lead and manage the brand team to deliver effective plans and demonstrate value back to the business.
- This is a senior role within the Marketing function, helping grow and broaden the global audience and providing brand leadership across the organisation
About you
- Senior experience in a brand or creative marketing role
- Proven track record of successful organisational influence, someone who can inspire with big, bold ideas and confidently influence conversation in a room of senior people.
- Deep understanding of brand building, strategic decision making and ultimately how to influence consumer behaviour
- Ability to balance knowledge of world class creative work alongside interpreting audience led insight to get to the right solutions.
- Expert collaborator, ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organisation
- Highly detail oriented, proactive and a self-starter
- Top notch verbal and written skills
