To oversee the logistical operations associated with the transition and derig into and out of Qualifying and The Championships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with various teams across the business to develop a comprehensive understanding of logistics requirements, focusing on the transition from year-round operations to the delivery of Qualifying and Championships events.
  • Supervise suppliers responsible for the procurement, storage, and distribution of fixtures, furniture, and equipment (FF&E) across all venues during Qualifying and Championships periods.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with key teams regarding delivery schedules to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure all deliveries across venues are of a high standard and timely.
  • Oversee adherence to site access policies and procedures at all times.
  • Oversee logistics budgets and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness in all logistics activities.
  • Collaborate with the Space Management Group to monitor and oversee CAD inventories for all operational spaces during the Championships, ensuring resources are accurately tracked and utilised.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the Estates Management Team to facilitate smooth transitions into and out of the Qualifying and Championships events.
  • Oversee the management of the Master Delivery Schedule to coordinate all deliveries throughout The Championships period.
  • Work closely with members of the security team and the Estates Management Team to ensure logistics operations are both smooth and secure.
  • Work closely with Estate Management teams across the loading bay to support year-round activity where required.
  • Collaborate with the Overlay team to deliver key elements of transition and derig.
  • Understand and apply key schedules, venue layouts, and site access requirements to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Manage key inventories required for the successful delivery of both Qualifying and Championships events, ensuring all necessary resources are available and accounted for.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing sustainability practices, focusing on reducing waste and supporting the organisation’s environmental objectives.

About You

  • Have strong knowledge of health and safety requirements to ensure compliance during all logistics operations.
  • Have thorough understanding of supply chain management processes.
  • Have excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate practical experience in a live environment where time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines are crucial.
  • Have the ability to engage and motivate others managing conflict as it arises.
  • Have the ability to streamline logistics processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Motivated professional looking to thrive in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a company that values excellence and operational efficiency.
  • CITB SMSTS or SSSTS certified.
  • Good understanding of CDM regulations and experience of working on a CDM site.
  • Good understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Experience in Site Management.
