Working primarily in the Junior School, you will support the delivery of a wide range of sporting activities for pupils aged 4 to 11.

The role will involve assisting with junior swimming lessons, including supporting children in EYFS and Key Stage 1, accompanying teaching staff on sport-related fixtures, trips and activities, and contributing to Junior Games afternoons depending on your sporting specialism. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities to lead groups independently.

In addition to lesson support, the Junior Sports Assistant will assist with junior lunchtime sports clubs, reinforcing key teaching points and helping to create a positive and engaging sporting environment. Applicants should be keen sportspeople who play or have played football, cricket, gymnastics, hockey, netball, swimming or tennis to a high level, although applications from candidates with other sporting specialisms will also be considered.
