We are seeking a Mobile Garden Maintenance Team Leader, with a UK approved driving license, to join our friendly team. We take pride in the upkeep of high-end gardens and natural environments in SW London and Surrey. This is a great career opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a variety of outdoor spaces, with a keen interest in horticulture.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership of the Maintenance team.
- Training team members in garden care and operation of garden machinery.
- Ensuring schedules are adhered to.
- Site management.
- Communicating effectively and efficiently, with clients, office staff and other team leaders.
- Carrying out seasonal garden care.
- Mowing, pruning and hedge trimming.
- Hard surface cleaning.
- Management of vehicle care, tools & equipment.
- Loading & unloading of garden machinery and garden waste.
What we are looking for
- An enjoyment of working outdoors in a natural environment.
- A driver, with good leadership skills.
- Physical strength (for working long hours).
- A “can-do” reliable attitude and good work ethic.
- Good time management & punctuality.
Requirements
- Ability to meet the team in New Malden at 7 am each morning.
- Driving licence essential (UK approved).
- Proven leadership skills.
- Previous garden landscaping or maintenance experience essential.
- Physical strength, motivation, and reliability.
- Right to work in the UK.
