The predicted salary is between 24000 - 28000 Β£ per year.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Working Pattern & Flexibility
- Shifts: Hours are determined by pre-planned agreement and can include early, late, or split shifts to meet school needs.
- Saturdays: Saturday shifts are worked on a one-in-three rotation. Additional Saturday shifts will be required to provide cover for staff sickness and annual leave.
- Sundays: Sunday shifts are not currently worked, though this may change in the future depending on school requirements. Any future Sunday work would include a pay enhancement (time plus a half).
Key Responsibilities
- Security: Opening and securing the site, deactivating/activating alarms, and responding to incidents or trespassers.
- Maintenance: Carrying out minor DIY repairs, furniture maintenance, and redecoration.
- Health & Safety: Performing weekly Legionella flushing, fire safety checks (emergency lighting/call points), and swimming pool monitoring.
- Site Care: General cleaning, daily litter picking, and emergency clearing of snow or ice during winter.
- Porterage & Lettings: Moving furniture for events and providing site access/supervision for external lettings.

- A candidate able to use email and basic IT systems for essential record-keeping.
- An individual committed to safeguarding, health and safety, and maintaining confidentiality.
