Wimbledon College is seeking a reliable, motivated, and proactive individual to join our dedicated site team as an Apprentice Caretaker Assistant. Working under the guidance of our Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do:
- Security & Safety: Assist with locking/unlocking the premises, conduct security patrols, and train as an emergency Fire Marshall.
- Maintenance & Grounds: Carry out minor repairs (carpentry, doors, windows), maintain school grounds, and tackle seasonal tasks like winter snow clearing.
- Operations & Logistics: Support the setup of rooms for school events and external lettings, assist with deliveries, and safely move furniture.
- Compliance & Hygiene: Monitor cleaning standards, restock supplies, and maintain essential health and safety logs.
