All about the role:
We are seeking to appoint an assistant cook to work alongside our current assistant cook to cover a staff member's maternity leave. Duties will include:
- Preparation and serving of daily meals which cater for different dietary requirements as appropriate
- Liaising with the Headteacher to agree nutritious menus for the term
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are adhered to
- Managing stock rotation and providing weekly orders to the school office
- Implementing a whole school ‘healthy schools’ approach

The successful applicant will work within the main school kitchen alongside our current Assistant Cook.
