Salary: £73,757 - £78,488 per annum

Hours per week: 37 hours

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader to join us as our Head of Safeguarding and Prevention, helping to shape services that protect vulnerable adults and support people to live well in Wiltshire. This is a senior role where you will lead safeguarding, prevention and early support across a broad set of services including advice and contact, prevention and wellbeing, financial assessment and benefit, hearing and vision and the multi agency safeguarding hub (MASH).

You will bring strong safeguarding experience and the ability to lead across prevention, front door services and statutory functions. You will be comfortable working in complex environments, with a clear focus on quality, improvement, and the experience of the people we support. You will be able to lead through change and deliver high quality outcomes for our communities.

You will work closely with health partners, the voluntary sector, and colleagues across the council to deliver joined-up services and maintain high standards. You will ensure we meet our statutory duties while continuing to improve quality and consistency. You will be a visible leader who builds trust, leads through change, and brings clarity in a demanding environment.
