Our targeted education team is looking for a skills programme manager. The Targeted Education Service supports vulnerable learners and those facing disadvantage to access education, training, employment, and further learning opportunities. Working with internal teams and external partners, the service helps improve skills, promote inclusion, and support economic growth across Wiltshire.

The Skills Programme Manager will lead the delivery of employment and skills programmes, including Skills Bootcamps and Connect to Work, ensuring they achieve targets, comply with funding requirements and deliver positive outcomes. The role oversees budgets, provider performance, quality assurance, stakeholder partnerships, team management and programme development, while driving service improvements and increasing participation in skills and employment opportunities across Wiltshire.

The successful candidate will have degree-level education or equivalent experience, strong programme and project management skills and experience delivering skills or education programmes. They will have a proven ability to manage budgets, work with partners and stakeholders, support disadvantaged groups, promote programmes effectively, and use data, ICT systems, and reporting tools to drive successful outcomes.
