Semley encourages and gives opportunities for each child to shine, to achieve the best they can and to enjoy their learning.

All about the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time SENCO to join our nurturing and supportive team, working across our two small, welcoming Church of England primary schools. We are neighbouring small rural schools who work in the same Hub of school. Are you passionate about inclusion and ensuring every child can thrive? Do you build trust, nurture relationships and champion children’s needs?

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision across both schools
  • Support children with a range of additional needs, including SEMH
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Work effectively with staff, external agencies and professionals
  • Promote inclusive, high-quality teaching and early intervention
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND provision
  • Model high expectations with warmth, care and consistency
  • Bring energy, resilience and a child-centred approach
  • Support and uphold our Christian values and ethos

In return, we offer:

  • Wonderful children who are a delight to work with
  • Two nurturing school communities built on strong, caring relationships
  • A supportive leadership team committed to your development
  • The opportunity to make a real difference for our most vulnerable pupils
  • A community where your work truly matters

If you’re committed to helping every child feel safe, included and ready to learn, this could be the perfect next step for you.
