Salary: £12.75 – £12.88 per hour after probation

Hours of work: Up to 37.5 hours per week, various contracts available. Shifts worked on a rota pattern and will include days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins. Additional payments of £70 for each Sleep in.

ALABARÉ aims to break the cycle of homelessness by offering safe housing, mental health support, and pathways to independence. The charity has expanded its services across the South West and Wales, supporting thousands of people every year.

All about the role:

As a Support Worker for LD Home & Community working with people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs you will be expected to adopt a flexible and responsive approach to delivering high quality care. The role involves promoting independence, reducing social barriers and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. A strong commitment to a person-centred approach is essential, ensuring that each individual is supported in tasks such as maintaining a tenancy, cooking, household chores, personal care or activities while aiming to achieve goals and aspirations. Car driver is preferred but not essential.
