A bit about us:
Nestled at the heart of our village, our school offers a rewarding role for someone looking to become a key part of a small, friendly community.
All about the role:
We are looking for a dedicated and child-centred teacher for a KS1 position within our flourishing Federation of Schools. Above all else we are keen to speak to teachers who are passionate about their career and who hold their children’s well-being at the heart of their practice. Working in small village schools can present challenges and opportunities which are different to working in a larger setting. We need teachers who can be adaptive and are creative. You would need to enjoy working in a smaller team and closely with the families that form part of the community.
Our teachers enjoy a high level of autonomy over how they teach their children and the design of their provision. We feel that teachers thrive in an environment where they can have ownership over what they deliver and that they are best placed to know the children that they are teaching. Our Teaching and Learning lead works closely with individuals to provide coaching support, and we work in teams to help develop highly effective practice.
Under the Federation, each school remains separate but works together under a single Governing Body and an Executive Head Teacher - Mrs. Macey. Each school retains its unique character, and both Broughton and West Tytherley pride themselves on their caring, small-school approach where children are known and valued as individuals. The federation provides a friendly and forward-thinking environment to work in and we offer excellent induction and professional development opportunities beyond those available to individual village schools.
Both our schools are set in beautiful countryside, and our outdoor offer and opportunities for child-led learning are key elements of the KS1 practice.

I would be delighted to show you round and talk about the role in detail. Visits to the school are strongly recommended and very welcome.
