Salary Part‑time: £25,570 – £26,872 per annum (30 hours per week). Full‑time equivalent: £31,537 – £33,143 per annum.

Hours & Contract: Part‑time, 30 hours per week with a minimum of 3 days per week. Temporary fixed‑term, 12 months.

Location & Flexible Working: Service Headquarters, Salisbury. Flexible working is available – you may work from home, stations, or support offices, subject to an agreed schedule. Attendance at the base location is required approximately 3 days a week.

Role Overview: Executive Support Administrator in the Corporate Support department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage switchboard services by phone and email, direct users to appropriate teams, take messages on behalf of staff and handle routine queries.
  • Own the travel and accommodation booking process for the Service.
  • Coordinate certificates and presentations for employees leaving the organisation.
  • Oversee meeting‑room bookings at headquarters, including external facilities, and provide general office services – data collation, photocopying, scanning, purchase orders, stationery supplies, post, and catering as required.
  • Support the Strategic Leadership Team’s personal assistants, managing diaries, itineraries, deadline reminders, mileage and expense claims, and all necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A level, NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject area, or equivalent demonstrable experience at this level.
  • Executive (board‑level) personal assistant experience or recent experience in a supportive administrative role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Other Information: Must fulfil travel requirements; 3 days per week at Service Headquarters and occasional meetings elsewhere. Infrequent evening or weekend work is rare. DBS clearance will be obtained before offer. Offer subject to full pre‑employment checks: identity, right to work, medical, references, employment history, and gaps in employment within the last 3 years. If a permanent role becomes available during the fixed‑term period, you may be considered for the role.
