The predicted salary is between 13.9 - 13.9 £ per hour.

Hourly rate: £13.47 - £13.90 per hour, plus 10% unsocial hours plus age.

Hours per week: Casual hours.

Bradbury House is a respite service offering short breaks to adults with learning disabilities. We help customers take part in meaningful activities that build confidence and independence, while also working closely with families and carers to ensure they feel supported and listened to.

What you will do:

  • As a casual relief bank support worker, you will help customers to live with dignity, choice and independence across both Riverbank and Meadow Lodge.
  • Support customers with personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Help plan and take part in meaningful activities.
  • Provide emotional and practical support when needed.
  • Assist with household tasks and basic financial responsibilities.
  • Work flexibly across day and respite services, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and waking nights.
  • Support customers in their homes or within the service settings.

  • Caring, patient and committed to supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Able to communicate clearly and work well with others.
  • Calm under pressure and able to make sensible decisions.
  • Physically able to carry out all aspects of the role.
  • Willing to learn and develop, including completing required training.
  • No specific qualifications needed if you have relevant skills or experience.
