The predicted salary is between 13.07 - 13.07 £ per hour.

Salary: £25,220 pro rata per annum (£13.07 per hour)

Hours of work: Part time 7 hours 10 minutes per week

Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2027

A bit about us: We are a vibrant non-denominational single form entry primary school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11. Located in the market town of Devizes, Wiltshire, we are proud to have very incredible children, who show exceptional behaviour and attitude to learning. We have a supportive parent body and a 28 place Complex Needs Resource Base, which supports children with additional needs from across the county. All about the role: Wansdyke School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to support the Wraparound Care Leader in managing the day-to-day operations of our after-school provision. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children who attend. This role involves assisting with the planning and organising of a range of activities suitable for primary-aged children, taking into account their interests and developmental needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children;
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Is self-motivated, energetic and proactive and will support in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality education and care for all of our children;
  • Has experience of working with children in a play / educational setting;
  • Has Food handling experience and/or a Food handling certificate (or willingness to complete one);
  • Is a strong team player;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Can demonstrate a warm and caring approach with children;
  • Is First Aid trained (advantageous).
